With different creators comes the opportunity of viewing new characters. Well, there are a lot of details to theorize about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. All this while, some of these theories might look like they are impossible, but the other ones actually have some evidence to support the claim. Well, here we present you with such fan theories about the future of the blockbuster franchise.
1. Captain Marvel Might Become The New Leader Of Avengers.
When Avengers was first taking shape, they consisted of six members. They were Captain America, the Incredible Hulk, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Thor, and the Black Widow. Also, Captain America and Iron Man were considered to be the unannounced leaders of the team; they are no longer on the team. We have Hulk present, but Thor has left, and Hawkeye can be considered a wild card. Black Widow, just like the Iron Man, has passed away. As Hulk has never really wanted to be the team leader and with no one to lead, it is thought by fans that Captain Marvel would be the best one to fill this vacant space left. Even though she is not an original team member, this superheroine might be a born leader. And obviously, we have actress Brie Larson who will definitely stick around the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a while.
2. Doctor Strange will go on and travel to other properties of Marvel.
All that the fans know at this point is that Doctor Strange will continue his work on research about the Infinity Stones and, in particular, the Time Stone. This will happen in the upcoming Marvel series, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Actor Benedict Cumberbatch plays the character of Doctor Strange. From the title of this series itself, fans trust that he is going to different Marvel universes just like there are many universes in the Marvel comics. Some fans speculate that Doctor Strange will not invent some timelines that are made specifically for the film but even to other movie timelines of Marvel. There even are rumors flying around that there will be appearances from the past Peter Parkers that were played by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is why the theory seems appropriate day after day.
3. The Avengers are all going to become legacy characters.
Jane Foster will introduce herself as the new Thor in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder. Also, Captain America has retired while Bucky Barnes or Sam Wilson has succeeded him. Thus, fans have started their own set of speculations that maybe the entire team of Avengers will be replaced with legacy characters. It might happen that Tatiana Maslany is going to appear on Disney plus in the form of the titular character Jennifer Walters, also known as She-Hulk. Also, Hailee Steinfeld will play the role of Kate Bishop as the new Hawkeye. We should also keep in mind how the latest trailer for Wanda Vision showcases the couple holding two children in their hands. They might potentially be Billy Kaplan and Tommy Shepherd, who is also known as the Young Avengers Wiccan and Speed. With all these new Avengers appearings, some fans think that Avengers’ new team is composed entirely of legacy characters from the first team.
4. The Fantastic Four might bring Galactus to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
All the people who read Marvel comics are welknowalactus is literally one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe villains, no matter the format has taken in by the stories. Whether it is a novel or a television series, Galactus is a compelling villain who comes along in some big catastrophic manners. Marvel recently announced that there would be a Fantastic Four film entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe pretty soon. This is what fans think will introduce Galactus into the franchise. With Thanos gone, it is thought that the franchise needs a new big bad and a Galactus, which might be the next logical step to do this.
5. Neither Sam nor Bucky will be the Next Captain America.
Xochitl Gomez has recently played the role of Dawn Schafer in The Baby-Sitters Club. He has then been cast as America Chavez. When she appears as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, she will be known as Miss America to get her live-action introduction to the MCU. Also, we know that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will release pretty soon, and thus, fans speculate whether or not Sam Wilson or Bucky Barnes will become the next Captain America. Although, the transition they have of their stories into TV shows while America Chavez gets an official introduction in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has led all the fans to think that she is instead going to take the role of Captain America after Steve Rogers rather than giving the title away to Bucky or Sam.
