It stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’ o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern, Frank Oz and Benicio del Toro in the lead roles. The story of the film shows Rey escaping from capture, and Ren declares himself as the new Supreme Leader or King. The remaining members are trapped in a fortress that is surrounded by the First Order. This movie has a runtime of 152 min, and it was liked by the audience; hence it has taken third place in our ranking list.
4. The Force Awakens (2015)
This part of the Star Wars series was released in 2015. The Force Awakens was directed by J.J. Abrams and was produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Bryan Burk. 5. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was directed by Gareth Edwards and was produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Allison Shearmur. This film was released in 2016 but was not as successful as its previous sequel, which was released in 2015. It has Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen, and Forest Whitaker in the lead role. 6. Return of the Jedi (1983)
This sequel of the Star Wars series was released in 1983. The Last Jedi was directed by Richard Marquand and was produced by Howard Kazanjian. It stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Daniels, David Prowse, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew, and Frank Ozin, the lead roles. In the story, the Empire plans to destroy the Rebellion with a more strong Death Star, but the Rebel made a huge attack on the space station. Also, Luke Skywalker challenges his father, Darth Vader, in the final battle. This movie has a runtime of 132 min, and Goerge Lucas wrote the story, and he was appreciated from the story point of view.
7. Revenge of the Sith (2005)
This film was released in 2005 and was directed by George Lucas, and he also wrote even the story. Rick McCallum participated as the producer of this sequel in association with Lucasfilm Ltd. It stars Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, Hayden Christensen, Ian McDiarmid, Samuel L. Jackson, Christopher Lee, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, and Frank Oz. According to the audience, the film was entertaining until the interval only, and the rest of the part was boring. The film has a successful runtime of 140 minutes, but in the end, the film became a little boring hence was trolled a little bit. Therefore, the film has taken seventh place in our ranking list of the Star Wars series.
8. Attack of the Clones (2002)
This sequel was released in 2002 and was directed by George Lucas, and the story and screenplay work are also done by George Lucas. Rick McCallum participated as the producer of this sequel in association with Lucas film Ltd. It stars Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, Hayden Christensen, Ian McDiarmid, Samuel L. Jackson, Christopher Lee, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, and Frank Oz. In the story, it was shown that after ten years of meeting, Skywalker again starts loving Padme Amidala and Obi-Wan investigates an enemy and found a secret army for Jedi. This film has a successful runtime of 142 min.
9. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
The Rise of Skywalker is recently released in 2019 and was directed by J.J. Abrams and was produced by Kathleen Kennedy, J. J. Abrams, and Michelle Rejwan. It stars Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels, Naomi Ackie, Domhnall Gleeson, Richard E. This film has a runtime of 142 minutes and was not able to match the expectations of the viewers as they were expecting some exciting storyline after the 2018 sequel didn’t work in the industry.
10. Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)
This movie was released in 2018 and was not at all liked by the audience because of its poor storyline and also because of the poor performance by the cast. It is directed by Ron Howard and was produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur, and Simon Emanuel. Jonathan Kasdan and Lawrence Kasdan wrote this sequel, and they both were badly trolled because of the boring storyline, and this result in the film becoming a flop. It stars Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, and Paul Bettany as the lead performers who have given such a poor performance. This film has a runtime of 135 mins, and each minute was considered a waste of time. This sequel becomes the most flopped movie of the Star Wars series. The loyal audience of Star Wars was expecting some improvement in the new sequel, which was to be released in 2019, but it also didn’t meet the expectations of the audience but was better than the 2018 release.
11. The Phantom Menace (1999)
The Phantom Menace was released in 1999 and was directed by George Lucas. Rick McCullum added as the producer of the film in partnership with Lucas Film Ltd. The story is written by the director George Lucas only. The storyline was good in this movie, but because of the poor performance by the cast, it resulted in an average movie. It stars Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, Jake Lloyd, Ian McDiarmid, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Pernilla August, and Frank Oz in the lead roles. The film has a runtime of 133 mins.
