If you have no idea what this game is, let me give you some basic info. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was launched in the year 2020. It is available to play on all platforms except mobile devices. The game is an action RPG and it is the twelfth major installment in Assassin’s Creed series. AC Valhalla is very well known for its amazing game setting locations, its graphics, and its gameplay. It has been around 4 months since the game has launched and we are having its first DLC. Let us look at the details which we know about this DLC.
What’s Coming
Wrath of the Druids takes you to Ireland. After exploring Norway and England the game is set to take you to a new nation. In Ireland, you have to battle a cult known as Children of Danu. You have to master the technique of smuggling, take control over the ring forts and win over the trust of Gaelic kings. This expansion will be the first expansion to come with the game’s Season Pass. Along with the DLC, we were also getting the Ostara Festival update in the game but the Ostara festival has arrived sooner than expected. It has already launched in-game on 16th March 2021. In this event, you could play some side activities like egg hunting which would earn you rewards.
Assassin’s Creed 2022 Leaks
As said above, Ubisoft is planning two DLC’s for this game, one is coming this month while the other would arrive in the summer. The second DLC is set to be in Paris. The DLC is titled Seige in Paris. According to Ubisoft, Siege of Paris will be based on a key moment in Viking history. A lot of fans/insiders are posting their theory on Reddit about how the next AC game in 2022 could be set in France. The story would be of the 100 Years War. This post was posted by GamingLeaksAndRumors on Reddit. They said this would be a ‘Budget’ title set in France and it would be the darkest and grittiest AC game to date. Well, there have been a lot of rumors going about Ubisoft working on an AC game that is set in China or Japan. These leaks were shared by 4chan who are well known for leaking accurate info on AC games. So there is a strong chance of getting an AC game set in Japan rather than in France. Not only the setting but 4chan has also said that we could see an only female protagonist in the next AC game. All the AC fans would definitely want a game set in Tokyo over Paris. That has been their demand for a long time and maybe next year their demands will be satisfied by Ubisoft. This France game theory has really created a new thread of rumors and there is no clarity at all. Maybe we would see AC games in both the locations, France and Japan. How and when? We don’t know yet.
Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids Release Date
Coming back to our main topic, which was Wrath of the Druids. Assassin’s Creed has released a launch date through Twitter, I mean they have not mentioned it straightaway. They have said that a major next patch will be deployed next week. So we can expect that patch to be the DLC. The tweet was of 11th March. So the release date could be between today till 20th March.
