As a businessman becomes the mayor of the city, he takes it upon himself to change the city for the better. Guided by passion and fueled by ambition, Neil Bremer toils to craft the city in the best way possible! After his retirement, he feels bored and desires to make the most of his life by serving the people of Los Angeles. His staff includes the right and dedicated members who all follow his orders. His adolescent daughter is as ambitious as him. She keeps him motivated and cheers him up whenever he feels low and gloomy. The storyline is quite mainstream and there’s no unique factor in it. However, there are moments and scenes that will actually make you laugh. Overall, it’s a good show for light-comedy lovers. Previously on Mr. Mayor Season 1 Episode 8
Ted Danson has totally nailed the role of Mayor Neil Bremer. His acting has been on point throughout the show and the audience loved his character. However, Jayden stole the limelight in the last episode. His jokes were genuinely funny and made the fans giggle. We saw the mayor has been struggling to unite the team and make the people work for the betterment of Los Angeles and its citizens. He wishes to make the trivia night one of the best nights of the citizens. But, due to the budget crisis, he has been worried and thinking of new ways to make the plan work in his favor. Although the charm of Danson worked in this show too, his character was way more lovable in “The Good Place”. The side actors are quirky and manage to make the audience laugh with their weird characters and comic timings. The next episode of this comedy TV show is likely to throw light on Neil’s dating partner and his love life. How will Orly react after discovering his father has been dating someone? How will it affect Neil? We hope the writers soon give us answers to all these questions and make the show a tad bit more imaginative. As of now, fans found it bland and boring. Let’s see what all things the next episode has in store for us this Thursday!
