In the present, Gym Nowhere is destroyed; only one part of the wall is left standing. Chief step-ups and decided to fight to reclaim the ownership of their town. At Abuhachi’s shop, Nomad is taking stamps of a few documents. The guy who is helping him told him to stop worrying about what happened now. Nomad asks the guy to tell him what has happened, and he won’t cause him any trouble. The guy reveals that floods washed everything away. But no one was injured or killed.
Previously on Nomad: Megalo Box 2 Episode 5
Nomad notice that the owner of the building is working with kids. He reminds him that he told him that he wouldn’t work with kids. The owner replies the Nomad has abandoned the kids in the past. But he has no choice but to take them in so that they can earn a living. Nomad realizes that he has recently returned and no one was helping nor taking care of the kids. He heads out and talks with Oicho, who was not interested in talking with him. Oicho believes that Nomad is responsible for their state and the destruction of Gym Nowhere. Nomad asks Oicho about the other kids, and Oicho replies that they are fine, but they don’t need his help. Oicho also reveals that Sachio doesn’t want to see Nomad, and everything has ended in the past. The two part-ways and Nomad head to Gym Nowhere. He finds that everything has collapsed, and he retrieves the board written Nowhere. Nomad regrets why he has left the kids and everyone in this town. He wonders how he fixes everything and remembers the time when his team partner was hospitalized. That day the doctor reveals that his partner can take another surgery, but it’s already spread to these lymph nodes. But they doubt that they will be able to remove it all. Nomad asks the door to tell him how they can proceed with his treatment. The doctor asks Nomad if his partner has a family, and Nomad replies that they are his family.
Underground Boxing
He reveals that they tried everything, but he is afraid that Mr. Nanbu’s only got about six months left, and after that, he will pass away. But if they perform expensive surgery, Mr. Nanbu will live longer. The Doctor reveals that Nanbu’s wish was to spend the rest of his days peacefully with his family. Later Nomad gets inside the room where Mr. Nanbu is. Mr. Nanbu reminds Nomad that Yuri’s precious student wanted a match with him, and he has forgotten his name. Sachio shouts that his name is Liu. That’s the time before Nomad changes his name. Mr. Nanbu calls him Joe and told him that he got an offer. Joes was speechless since he was thinking about getting Mr. Nanbu cured. Sachio comments that it is an exhibition match to try to get. Mr. Nanbu looks at Joe and realizes that the doctor has told him the truth. Sachio reveals that Joe will go to the ring after being away for more than a year. Mr. Nanbu tries to convince Nomad to accept the match even if it is not official. He reminds him that the kids are serious about it. Nanbu also told him to accept it as a gift to Yuri, who returned to the world of Megalobox. In the present day, Nomad realizes that was the last time he saw Mr. Nanbu. Sachio visits Nomad and beats him in sparring combat, and Nomad falls unconscious after receiving a heavy blow. Later, Nomad finds that Sachio is entering the underground Boxing. Sachio lost his first fight, and Nomada decided to help him.
